a U.S. Trident II nuclear missile submarine, loaded with 24 ICBMs tipped with MIRVs (Multiple Impact Reentry Vehicles). Eerie.
1 January 1998: I just returned to Seattle from four days in Chicago, where I saw Ian,
Sharon,
Sallee,
and Joree, the latter three for the first time in years.
New Year's Eve was spent with Jon Spencer's Blues Explosion at the Metro on Clark.
22-27 December 1997: In Kansas City for the holidays.
13-21 December 1997: In Europe for Microsoft; visited Dublin and Copenhagen.
