HOME TAMASI PHOTO ALBUM ABOUT ME STUFF
ABOUT ME
This picture is such a lie, since I don't really wear a suit unless absolutely necessary (but then it's rather fun), but I figure I might as well window-dress a bit, since I can.

About me? What do I do, what do I like? What have I done?

In the Beginning
Well, I was born in November 1970 in Kansas City, Missouri. That makes me both Scorpio and the oldest child of Robert and Sally Tamasi. Check out my family history.

The Formative Years
Rolling Hills Preschool was my first educational experience. Closed now for several years, it used to be located at about 93rd and Nall in Overland Park.
Mrs. Dodson was my kindergarten teacher at Trailwood Elementary School just east of 95th and Nall. It was there that I first had "letter books" and watched that show that had Marlo Thomas' song Free to Be You and Me on it.
I then spent eight years at CurĂ© of Ars Grade School at 93rd and Mission Road in Leawood, KS, and graduated as part of the Class of 1985.

The Great God High School
Four relatively rigorous years at Rockhurst High School , a Jesuit-run college preperatory school on State Line Road in Kansas City, MO, occupied my time next. It was during this particularly dismal phase of life that I believed myself to be a political conservative. In fact -- much to my chagrin -- I even considered myself a Republican and supported George Bush Sr. in 1988. But it was also a great growing up time, and Rockhurst was and is a very good school. Thus ended twelve years of Catholic education.

Life Begins in College
I attended college at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, KS, home of the Jayhawks. The beer at Free State Brewery was quite phenomenal.

These Days
I reside in the Wallingford neighborhood of Seattle, Washington, and am a lead security engineer in the Windows division at Microsoft.
